| This museum commission for a soaring fifty-foot-high
atrium designed by Sir Norman Foster, with a thirty-five-foot window,
demanded a singular solution. On vertical struts radiating from
a central point, over two thousand handblown parts create a monumental
window of color and form. At the same time, Chihuly Installations
opened at the museum with fifteen new installations, a new drawing
wall, and a new ice wall. |
