Artpark

In the summer of 1975, Chihuly was among nearly 40 artists invited to create temporary outdoor works in Lewiston, New York, near Niagara Falls. During this artist-in-residence, he collaborated with his friend Seaver Leslie to create Artpark Installation, using handblown sheets of stained glass in simple arrangements to contrast the glass with the environment and give physical expression to light.
