Glass Samples
On January 26, Carnegie Picture Lab (CPL) – based in Walla, Walla, WA – launched its family fun nights program bringing arts education to students and their families. This year, CPL selected Chihuly as its artist to study.
A variety of events are scheduled for the children – grades kindergarten through fifth – attending the ten elementary schools in the city including the opportunity to learn more about the pieces Chihuly uses as components for his installations (pictured).
Chihuly Garden and Glass and Chihuly Studio believe arts education should be available for every student and supports communities in ongoing efforts to teach children the importance of the arts in our lives.
