Chihuly Workshop Announces Newest Print

Chihuly Workshop announces the release of its newest print, Plum Golden.

The spontaneity and gestural expression apparent in Chihuly’s drawing style are among the attributes which initially drew Chihuly to glassblowing. Plum Golden combines the artist’s use of lustrous color and his visceral approach to drawing in the depiction of a metallic gold Chandelier vividly contrasted against a magenta background. Additional handwork of iridescent copper acrylic paint and distinctive violet dots add depth to the composition.
