Chihuly Workshop announces the release of its newest print, Desert Heat.
Desert Heat continues Dale Chihuly’s 40-plus year dialogue with his cardinal series, Baskets. Warm background tones of vermillion and gold expand the volume of the Basket with its spherical lines delineated in gold and further defined in copper acrylic paint. Bright yellow, crimson red and iridescent gold speckle the interior while Chihuly’s signature lip wrap adds further dimensional dynamics. Desert Heat is hand-signed by Chihuly and numbered in pencil.
