Chihuly at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Opens

On Saturday, October 20, 2012, Chihuly at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts opened in Richmond, Virginia.

The Blue Ridge Chandelier, presented in the McGlothlin Wing, is inspired by the museum’s Tiffany “Christ Resurrection Window” while a new artwork, the Laguna Torcello platform, is inspired by and celebrates Chihuly’s love for Venice. Other artwork on view includes Boats, Red Reeds in the reflecting pool and a Persian Ceiling.
