Back Hallway
The back hallway features collections that were obtained at various antique and second-hand stores. The walls feature prints from friend and fellow artist, David Hockney. In the changing rooms near The Pool Room, vintage women’s bathing suits hang—a collection gifted to Chihuly by gallerist Helen Drutt English.

Stringholders
Before tape and plastic wrap, string was a common item used by butchers and grocers for securing wrapped packages of food and other goods. String holders were designed to store and easily dispense balls of string. Made of cast iron, ceramic, or chalk, decorative string holders were often found hanging on the walls of everyday kitchens in the 1930s and ‘40s.
