The Ball Room*
Prior to its renovation in 2011, the second floor of The Boathouse had been used for business offices, Chihuly's painting studio, and Chihuly’s personal living quarters. Today, it is known as The Ball Room and features a Chihuly Steinway grand piano and a stunning interactive dartboard installation by Jacob Dahlgren titled, I, The World, Things, Life (2007), among other artwork from Chihuly’s personal art collection. Used for private events, The Ball Room includes a lounge area decorated with Chihuly’s vintage camera and radio collection and a kitchen outfitted with Fiestaware dishes and a vintage stove.
